Bargain hunters found plenty to smile about at Chichester's first community swop shop.
Several hundred people attended the innovative event at the Assembly Rooms last weekend, organised by Tranistion Chichester and sponsored by Chichester Community Development Trust and Chichester District Council.
Good quality Items, including books, DVDs, toys, games, clothes and household goods were exchanged with no money changing hands, to promote recycling and re-using and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill.
It is hoped the swop shop will be held at least four times a year.
