The town centre is best accessed by leaving the site using Summersdale Road, turning right on to Wellington Road and then left on to Broyle Road. You then arrive at Northgate where a subway takes you across to North Street. The footpath alongside College Lane is narrower, darker and adjacent to the carriageway, making it less attractive.

The hospital can be accessed directly from Graylingwell Park by using Connolly Way and Graylingwell Drive.
