Car Club

The long term objectives for Graylingwell Park is to establish a CAR CLUB for the use of residents and employees, with permanently based vehicles on site. As Graylingwell Park occupancy grows, the viability of a dedicated car club becomes much stronger. These work by pre-registering and then being able to hire by the hour, up to several days. Visit http://www.commonwheels.co.uk to see how a car club can work and costs of hire.

Portsmouth, Southampton and Brighton have car clubs in a few locations. In September 2010, Chichester District Council received funding for a Car Club. Details of where the car(s) will be located are not known at present but it might be possible for Graylingwell Park residents to become a member.

In the short term, a priority servce agreement has been established with Enterprise rent-a-car. They will operate a free pick-up from Graylingwell to their offices in Terminus Road, Chichester. Upon completion of hire they will drop you back home. Enterprise have agreed to offer a 5% discount on their internet rates. As volume of hires pick up, and for repeat hires, then it may become possible to pick up/drop off on site itself. The option of a half day hire may also be introduced.
